Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is triggered by changes in head position, for example tipping one's head up or down. People can experience dizziness, a spinning sensation, lightheadedness, unsteadiness, loss of balance, and nausea. The most serious concern is the risk of falling. BPPV is treatable.

BPPV treatments include physical therapy exercises. The purpose of these exercises is to move the calcium carbonate particles out of your semicircular canals and back into your utricle.

At Southern New Hampshire Vertigo & Balance Center, we have state-of-the-art vestibular diagnostic equipment that can identify and improve your dizziness and balance challenges.
